Rohesia, now many decades older, arrives at the Great Dark, and is met by the Gatekeeper. She begs to be set free from her hell, and the Gatekeeper takes pity on her, sending her back to the point where she entered the Realm Between.

The gates await through the veil, the dark beyond has come at last
Within the shadows a specter calls, he beckons forth the endless dead

The gatekeeper judges the damned, his black wings curl, unfurl his law
Rohesia, the old witch crone, before the void, four decades past

The black soul keeper turns his great hood forth, his eye extends to meet her gaze.

“Please! I beg of you, take this life i’ve paid the price, my soul, my soul, just let me rest!”

With a great black claw he gathers forth, her broken, sunken frame, plucks the girl from her shattered shell, the abyss rises to greet her

Eyelids open, head still spinning, earth beneath her, soft and warming
Blue light flicker, dew drop morning, life restored to wander freely
